Ceolchoirm sa Halla

There was a lot of talent on display in the school hall during our annual ceolchoirm to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge. The classes sang, danced, recited poems and played instruments! Well done to all involved. Bhí sibh go hiontach!

Dry Ice Theatre Performance

On Thursday, December 6th the girls from Junior Infants to 2nd class enjoyed a fun-filled show, performed by Dry Ice Theatre company.

This theatre company is made up of students from Coláiste Dhúlaigh. The acting, singing and dancing were fantastic and the girls loved the characters, all familiar from story and film. These included Rapunzel, Belle, Gaston, Sleeping Beauty, Mario, Mary Poppins , Dora and many more.

As well as being spectators there were opportunities to join in with familiar songs and even dance with the characters!  . Sarjit, whose daughter Jasmin  is in Senior Infants, works in the drama department in Coláiste Dhúlaigh and was responsible for the great costumes worn by the performers.

It was a super, live performance and a great inspiration to a younger generation as they prepare for their own Christmas performances!
